Please~? I seriously don't mind if you give me negative feedback there. One of my goals for this year is to be a better friend, after all. :)

Nothing new here. Just that classes have resumed and we have a lot of group projects to accomplish. Like us students, the teachers were really lazy today, too! They just distributed our test results and told us to have free time while they chillaxed in their table. XD And Blender is so difficult to use, I don't even.

I think I'll start my LJ scrapbook soon. It's another one of my 2010 resolutions I hope to finish~

So anyway. HIATUS TIME IS GOOOOOOOO! I've got quarter exams this week which means I have to do nothing but study this weekend. I love the internet and all, but I get distracted so easily. On the bright side, after exams is Christmas break! \o/

AND I AM BACK. ERRR, AGAIN. The internet got cut off again for a day, you see. I'm terribly, epically late for the Halloween meme, but I still have a bunch of tricks to do. Sooo, if you'd like~ here, have a meme~

1. Create a graphic (200 x 200 max size) to represent your personal "candy". It should have your username on it, but otherwise can feature whatever you want. Make it something special since it's self-representative.
2. Make a post with the subject "trick or treat?". Put your "candy" somewhere in it, and be sure to repost these instructions.
3. Then, go around other people's LJs and reply to them with either "trick" or "treat". If you reply with "trick", they will give you an LJ dare that you have to perform before taking their candy. If you're too wimpy for that, simply say "treat" and take their candy.
4. List all your collected candies in your original "trick or treat?" post to show off your collection, being sure not to direct-link!

SO BUSY LATELY

Projects, groupwork, exaaaaaaaams... yes, school has been eating me alive lately.
Especially since we'll be having the Second Quarter Exams next week. ;____;

BUUUUUT. We'll be dissecting a squid on Monday. Yes, I just had to share that. XD

So a bunch of sources are saying that the electricity in Metro Manila will be turned off at 9PM (GMT +8) tonight. Typhoon Parma, said to be a supertyphoon at Category 4, will be hitting Northern Luzon (including Metro Manila) tonight or tomorrow. I'm posting because... well, I just wanted to post. \o/

noelle still hasn't posted or sent a message. I'M REALLY HOPING NOTHING BAD HAS HAPPENED TO HER. ;______;

...I'm really, really worried about bluejayes. I'm not sure where she lives exactly; all I know is it's somewhere in Metro Manila. She hasn't commented or posted since September 26, which was when the typhoon hit Manila. God, I hope she wasn't afflicted by the floods. ;______;

According to Twitter, Facebook and Yahoo! Messenger, our school will be holding a relief operation tomorrow. Volunteers will be packing and sorting out donations which will be delivered to the victims. GOD, I WANT TO GO THERE SO BADLY. I'm going to go pester ask my mom for permission~

Apparently, classes are suspended until October 5. o_O

THE PHILIPPINES NEEDS YOUR HELP
Over the weekend, Tropical Storm Ketsana (Philippine name Typhoon Ondoy) ravaged most of the island of Luzon, leaving catastrophe in its wake. The latest reports say that at least 100 were left dead, and countless thousands are displaced and/or missing. The Typhoon wreaked havoc over the nation's capital, Manila, and the nearby provinces, leaving a total of over Php109 Million (US$2,290,000) in damages.

I guess I could say that my family and I are lucky. We live in the southern area of Metro Manila and the worst we experienced was getting stranded on the road because of knee-high floodwaters, and losing electricity for a few hours. The northern area of Manila, however, wasn't so fortunate. In Marikina and Quezon City, the floods reached as high as two meters and residents had to stay on the roofs of their houses in the pouring rain just so they wouldn't be caught in the current. Trucks couldn't possibly pass through the water. People had to be rescued by boat or by helicopter. Manila looked like a freaking ocean.

They say that the typhoon will be leaving soon, but more typhoons will come in the future. :| I was bawling when I watched the initial news reports on Saturday. WHYYYYY. DDD:
